Annie turns 6!

I can't believe that Annie turned 6 last week! She is growing up so fast. I always tell her that she will always be my first baby and I love watching her grow and learn. She is such a good big sister. She plays so well with Macey and Olivia and helps take care of them. It is very sweet. She is learning so much in school and is such a happy kid! Her teacher told us at parent teacher conferences that she is a mother hen to other kids in class and always wants to help them. I am so blessed to have Annie in our family and I am so grateful that she is such a sweet daughter.

For her birthday we had an "Under the Sea" party. It was really fun!  All the little girls we had over made sand castles out of sugar cubes, played pin the tail on the mermaid, and enjoyed under the sea cupcakes! It was a big hit and fun too!

Birthday morning started the same way it always does around here..... birthday cereal of her choice :) and of course the birthday hat!
We had a birthday dinner at Dickie Joe's (she loves that they have pb&j sandwiches) with Papa and Heather. They got her a Brave doll and she loved it!
My 6 year old with her octopus cake
I always make the girls their own personal little cake. It turned out cute!
Here are the cute cupcakes

Halloween

Halloween was a big hit around here this year! We squeezed in a lot of fun pre-Halloween activities and enjoyed Halloween night! We carved pumpkins, made sugar cookies, went to visit Rex at work and show all the secretaries the girls costumes and went tick or treating! We had a blast and the costumes turned out so good!
Carving pumpkins for Family home evening. The girls did actually dig out some of the guts.... we did the rest :)
This is what Olivia did while we carved pumpkins :)
All done! Rex carved a more difficult pumpkin, but for some reason it didn't make it in the picture. Now it is all mushy and in the trash!
Making sugar cookies, like we do every year!
Annie debating if she should eat the frosting or not

This is what Olivia did while we frosted cookies, made fishy faces in the tub, cute!
We helped at Annie's class party and Macey was so excited to sit with Annie at her table
My little super heros!!

The girls really liked their costumes, mostly because they got to wear tutus!

October Fun!

We have had a fun but busy month! I love fall and it gets me so excited for all the fun holidays to come! I do love October. I love that my kids are really getting into all the activities that we have been doing too! The weather has started to turn cold and we have had some rain too so we have been creative (thanks to Pinterest) and found some fun indoor games. We also went to the pumpkin patch with some friends and are getting all ready for Halloween. I am very excited about the girls costumes this year!!

Playing and spiderweb game

We did Halloween nails. Annie had all pumpkins but Macey wanted flowers and flags on hers so she had a couple different seasons on her nails :)
Playing in the hay maze at the pumpkin patch
I love the sun behind the girls in these shots!

Room Redo

Over the weekend we turned out playroom into Annie's room. We have always had all the girls in one room and it has worked out great. They all sleep great, even through someone waking up or crying, and then we were able to have a room dedicated to all the TOYS that come along with kids. Well, since we are adding in another little girl we made a few changes. Macey and Olivia are in one room and Annie is in the other. I think eventually we will have Annie and Macey together and the little ones share a room but for now this is going to work out great!

It was so fun re-doing a room! I love to decorate and with the help of my sister who has amazing design taste, I really like how the room turned out! I have been collecting decor for months, painting, and sewing. It is so cozy and warm. Here are a few pictures of how it turned out!

I love this wall.

I made these pillows to match her room colors. I went with red, aqua, black and white. I am excited to have a bigger bed too, now we can have company stay with us!

I LOVE these shutters! I found them months ago and I knew exactly what to do with them. I love the bold color. Annie picked out some cute photos to hang up too. Rex made the best new bookshelf! I love it! He did such a great job and it holds all the girls toys, books, and art supplies in 8 cubbies.

Annie all snuggly and sleeping.

School, birthday and more!

This post will have a bit of everything! Annie started kindergarten at the beginning of September and she loves it! She is very excited about reading, math, going to the school library and computer lab, and of course riding the bus a mile to our house :) It is really cute and I still can't believe that I have a child in school! I am so used to all my kids being at home with me, but she was SO ready for school. She eats her little sack lunch (which I love making, I am a nerd...) in the cafeteria with her friends and loves doing the monkey bars at recess. I am very proud of her! Go Annie!

Macey just celebrated her 4th birthday!! I can't believe this either..... I still think of her as my little Macey. Tiny and sweet. But she is growing and learning everyday! We had so much fun too! I made her a Littlest Pet Shop cake because she is all about the pet shops, we went to put put golf as a family upon her request, and dinner at the bird restaurant. For those of you who don't call it that you probably call it Red Robin :) It was so much fun! I am grateful for Macey and the happiness she brings into our home! I love you!

And of course here are the pictures :

First day of school, ready to go! So cute!
Hopping off the bus!
Here is the Pet Shop Cake.... I love all the colors!
My sweet girl, I could just kiss that face off :)

A really cute picture of the girls with Rex. It really was so much fun!
And Last...... We are expecting our 4th little girl! Yes, it is true. Rex will be severely out numbered but we are all so excited!! I am 20 weeks and feeling really good. I have started feeling kicks and movement which makes being pregnant feel real :) I am due Feb. 10th and I can't wait to meet our little girl! I am so blessed! Just wanted to share the good news!

Our Little Camping Trip

Over the Labor Day weekend we decided to take the girls on a quick camping trip. There are TONS of great camping spots around here and we found the perfect little spot not far from home. I was concerned that it would be cold and the girls wouldn't sleep good but I was wrong. The weather was beautiful and all three girls sleep like rocks...... no one woke up. That doesn't even happen at home. In a nice warm bed. Anyway, it was so much fun! We all had a blast. Even being dirty and smelling like a fire we had fun family time. We had smores by the fire, tossed rocks in the river just down from out site, snuggled in our tent, and had donuts and bananas for breakfast. It was a great way to get away...... even close to home.

Cute little Macey trying out her camp chair
Rex and the girls walking to the river, cute!
Annie posing by the pretty river. I can't tell you how many pictures there are of me when I was a kid "posing" by something. :)
Olivia loved throwing rocks in the river. All the girls did. Rex and I were trying to throw them all the way to the other side.We did this for like an hour. It is a lot more fun then is sounds.
Me and my girls
I love how the fire is glowing off their little faces. SO CUTE!
Family picture after breakfast. Love these people so much!
