Baby Update

Well, last week we had a great baby appointment. Thankfully it was on Rex's day off and he was able to come too!! We had another ultrasound to get an estimate of how big our baby girl is. It was so much fun to see her again. She was extra wiggly but growing great!! They estimated that she is about 3lbs. 14oz. right now which is great considering I am only 8 weeks away!! I can't believe it! We saw her open her mouth and swallow, roll (which I am very aware of now), and saw her strong heart beat. I can't wait to meet her. Annie was also there watching the screen and she kept saying, "baby, baby...." Melt my heart. We are getting Annie's toddler bed in a couple of weeks and then the girls room will be ready. We will see how she does in it. I can only imagine that we will get little visits from her in the middle of the night thinking it is time to get up and have breakfast! She is so cute! We are really looking forward to meeting our new little miracle... We will keep you updated!

My best girl friends from high school (and cheerleading girls too) threw me the sweetest shower over the weekend. The decorations were so amazing and creative and we had great food!! Thanks mom for all the yummy snacks! It was such a fun day to get together and talk about babies and motherhood. I have the best friends who have always been there for me and I know that we will remain friends throughout our lives. You guys are the best, thank you soooo much!!

Splish Splash

Annie loves her baths!! If I would let her she would stay in for hours, but usually the water goes cold before we let that happen. Yesterday she was being so goofy I had to take some pictures. My favorite is when I let the water out and I turned around to get her towel and when I looked back at her she was sitting in an empty tub still playing with toys!!

Ouch!

On Sunday while preparing dinner at my parents I cut about 1/4 of my nail and finger off while cutting lettuce for tacos! Besides the fact that it was really gross, Rex was so sweet and pampered me the rest of the day. He bandaged me up and then made me dessert, folded laundry, and gave me a foot rub. He is the best husband, I love you REX!!

Happy 4th!

We had a great 4th! Nanna and Papa came over for a bbq and then we made icre cream in a bag! Annie loved the fireworks and kept asking for more! What a great way to spend a Friday night!

28 weeks and growing

A belly update! Well, I am at 28 weeks and feeling great! Baby girl is moving a ton, quite the wiggle worm, but I love it!! She really kicks at night which is great because Rex can see and feel her move. We are really excited about her arrival and I am busy making new bedding for both girls!! I can't wait to meet her! I think Annie is going to be a great big sister!!

First Haircut

My mom and I snipped little bangs while Annie was napping yesterday to keep her hair our of her eyes. She loves having piggy's too and looking in the mirror and saying, "cute".
