Christmas tree Hunting

Well, I know it has been way to long but between leaving my camera at my in laws for a week, all of us getting sick, and getting ready for Christmas I have slacked on my blogging. Sorry, but I have so great pictures and updates!

We had a blast picking out our tree this year. The weather was great, lots of snow and Annie loved it! We drove up early Saturday and had hot cocoa fruit, and donuts holes in the car. It was nice to just chat with Rex, listen to Christmas music and enjoy the scenery. The girls did great and we found the perfect tree. We met Rex's sister, her kids, and his dad up there to join in on the fun. I just love having a Christmas tree up. It gives off a warm glow to our house that makes me so excited for this season. We decorated the tree as a family and put up the rest of our holiday decor. I love Christmas!

Rexy and the girls
Annie and Macey resting and watching Rex cut down the tree!
Rex had to climb up part of a tree to cut it down, what a stud!
Our half way decent family picture :)
I am the official light putter upper because I have to have it done just the right way and I am kinda picky :)
Annie loved decorating. I have notice that the bottom of the tree is always being rearranged by someone......
So much fun, I love that the girls are getting really excited for Christmas and all that has to come yet!

What a great tree you found! I'm so jealous you got to play in the snow. Hopefully next year we can convince Jonas to get a real forest tree. You are an excellent light putter-upper, especially with your festive red gloves.
