New Room

Well, after weeks and weeks of sewing and crafting Annie and new baby's room is finally finished!! I am so excited. It is so nice to know that now we are really ready and prepared. Annie has slept in her new bed two nights in a row and doing quite well. In the morning she still sits on her bed and says,"mom" until I go in there. I don't know if she realizes that she can get down even if I am not in there :) Just a little over three weeks until baby is here!! I am really getting anxious and excited!!! I will get Rex to take another belly picture because this baby is still growing!! We will keep you updated!!

Writing on her chalkboard. She also loves to pull everything out of the closet and toss it around the room and the entire upstairs. You just never know where you will find toys and clothes :)

Trouble Maker

This is what happens every morning when I am getting ready. Annie enjoys dumping out all the q-tips (don't worry they are the baby safe ones :) and getting down every roll of toilet paper that we own and sometimes unraveling them.... this is her surprised face!
We also made Rex a "good luck at school card". It was his first class in grad school!! Yeah honey!! But we kinda lost control of the markers!!

Baby Ezra!

My nephew has arrived! Ezra Pitts was born on August 15 at 4:40 am. He weighs 7lbs. 15oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long. He is so sweet and cute!! Annie and I went to Portland and watched Ryan while they were at the hospital. Then we went to visit Brianne at the hospital yesterday. She is doing great too!I am getting really excited to welcome our baby to our family!!

Day at the beach

Today we went to the Newport beach and we had a great time!! It was so much fun spending time as a family. We walked up and down historic Newport beach front, ate yummy seafood at Mo's, and bought saltwater taffy. Annie loved looking at the sea lions and running on the beach. It was such a fun day. Poor Annie fell a couple of days ago on my parents new brick patio and scratched her little nose, but it didn't seem to bother her today!

Baby Update

Well, last week we had a great baby appointment. Thankfully it was on Rex's day off and he was able to come too!! We had another ultrasound to get an estimate of how big our baby girl is. It was so much fun to see her again. She was extra wiggly but growing great!! They estimated that she is about 3lbs. 14oz. right now which is great considering I am only 8 weeks away!! I can't believe it! We saw her open her mouth and swallow, roll (which I am very aware of now), and saw her strong heart beat. I can't wait to meet her. Annie was also there watching the screen and she kept saying, "baby, baby...." Melt my heart. We are getting Annie's toddler bed in a couple of weeks and then the girls room will be ready. We will see how she does in it. I can only imagine that we will get little visits from her in the middle of the night thinking it is time to get up and have breakfast! She is so cute! We are really looking forward to meeting our new little miracle... We will keep you updated!

My best girl friends from high school (and cheerleading girls too) threw me the sweetest shower over the weekend. The decorations were so amazing and creative and we had great food!! Thanks mom for all the yummy snacks! It was such a fun day to get together and talk about babies and motherhood. I have the best friends who have always been there for me and I know that we will remain friends throughout our lives. You guys are the best, thank you soooo much!!

Me and my sister Brianne with matching bellies!! She is due in 3 1/2 weeks! Yeah! Can't wait to meet her son. It is always so much fun when she comes down to visit. Our little girls just love playing together!!

Splish Splash

Annie loves her baths!! If I would let her she would stay in for hours, but usually the water goes cold before we let that happen. Yesterday she was being so goofy I had to take some pictures. My favorite is when I let the water out and I turned around to get her towel and when I looked back at her she was sitting in an empty tub still playing with toys!!
