October Fun!

We have had a fun but busy month! I love fall and it gets me so excited for all the fun holidays to come! I do love October. I love that my kids are really getting into all the activities that we have been doing too! The weather has started to turn cold and we have had some rain too so we have been creative (thanks to Pinterest) and found some fun indoor games. We also went to the pumpkin patch with some friends and are getting all ready for Halloween. I am very excited about the girls costumes this year!!

Playing and spiderweb game

We did Halloween nails. Annie had all pumpkins but Macey wanted flowers and flags on hers so she had a couple different seasons on her nails :)
Playing in the hay maze at the pumpkin patch
I love the sun behind the girls in these shots!

Room Redo

Over the weekend we turned out playroom into Annie's room. We have always had all the girls in one room and it has worked out great. They all sleep great, even through someone waking up or crying, and then we were able to have a room dedicated to all the TOYS that come along with kids. Well, since we are adding in another little girl we made a few changes. Macey and Olivia are in one room and Annie is in the other. I think eventually we will have Annie and Macey together and the little ones share a room but for now this is going to work out great!

It was so fun re-doing a room! I love to decorate and with the help of my sister who has amazing design taste, I really like how the room turned out! I have been collecting decor for months, painting, and sewing. It is so cozy and warm. Here are a few pictures of how it turned out!

I love this wall.

I made these pillows to match her room colors. I went with red, aqua, black and white. I am excited to have a bigger bed too, now we can have company stay with us!

I LOVE these shutters! I found them months ago and I knew exactly what to do with them. I love the bold color. Annie picked out some cute photos to hang up too. Rex made the best new bookshelf! I love it! He did such a great job and it holds all the girls toys, books, and art supplies in 8 cubbies.

Annie all snuggly and sleeping.

School, birthday and more!

This post will have a bit of everything! Annie started kindergarten at the beginning of September and she loves it! She is very excited about reading, math, going to the school library and computer lab, and of course riding the bus a mile to our house :) It is really cute and I still can't believe that I have a child in school! I am so used to all my kids being at home with me, but she was SO ready for school. She eats her little sack lunch (which I love making, I am a nerd...) in the cafeteria with her friends and loves doing the monkey bars at recess. I am very proud of her! Go Annie!

Macey just celebrated her 4th birthday!! I can't believe this either..... I still think of her as my little Macey. Tiny and sweet. But she is growing and learning everyday! We had so much fun too! I made her a Littlest Pet Shop cake because she is all about the pet shops, we went to put put golf as a family upon her request, and dinner at the bird restaurant. For those of you who don't call it that you probably call it Red Robin :) It was so much fun! I am grateful for Macey and the happiness she brings into our home! I love you!

And of course here are the pictures :

First day of school, ready to go! So cute!
Hopping off the bus!
Here is the Pet Shop Cake.... I love all the colors!
My sweet girl, I could just kiss that face off :)
Her table all decked out!
Mini golfing..... Look at Macey, so excited and Annie really concentrating
A really cute picture of the girls with Rex. It really was so much fun!
And Last...... We are expecting our 4th little girl! Yes, it is true. Rex will be severely out numbered but we are all so excited!! I am 20 weeks and feeling really good. I have started feeling kicks and movement which makes being pregnant feel real :) I am due Feb. 10th and I can't wait to meet our little girl! I am so blessed! Just wanted to share the good news!

Our Little Camping Trip

Over the Labor Day weekend we decided to take the girls on a quick camping trip. There are TONS of great camping spots around here and we found the perfect little spot not far from home. I was concerned that it would be cold and the girls wouldn't sleep good but I was wrong. The weather was beautiful and all three girls sleep like rocks...... no one woke up. That doesn't even happen at home. In a nice warm bed. Anyway, it was so much fun! We all had a blast. Even being dirty and smelling like a fire we had fun family time. We had smores by the fire, tossed rocks in the river just down from out site, snuggled in our tent, and had donuts and bananas for breakfast. It was a great way to get away...... even close to home.

Cute little Macey trying out her camp chair
Rex and the girls walking to the river, cute!
Annie posing by the pretty river. I can't tell you how many pictures there are of me when I was a kid "posing" by something. :)
Olivia loved throwing rocks in the river. All the girls did. Rex and I were trying to throw them all the way to the other side.We did this for like an hour. It is a lot more fun then is sounds.
Me and my girls
I love how the fire is glowing off their little faces. SO CUTE!
Family picture after breakfast. Love these people so much!

A little catch up.....

Wow, it has been a month already? There have been some serious computer issues and some serious fun keeping me away. But, here is a little catch up :) WE have had so much fun in the sun. Playing in our little pool, hanging out at the lake, and hitting the spray park. I had a GREAT birthday too. I was treated to lunch with friends and family, my sister highlighted my hair (yeah!), had a girls day watching movies and doing nails, and had all my family over for burgers and cake! We have had a fun summer and we stay busy all day long.... which insures for tired, worn out, happy kids at the end of the day.  Rex is finished at Oregon Dept. of Forestry and is back at the high school, Olivia is all over the place, talking and running! Annie is so excited for school and Macey is enjoying every minute of time outside on her scooter and with friends. Here are a few pictures to go along with all the fun......
Macey snuggling in nice warm clean laundry
Rex came home for lunch to visit us in his fire truck! Such a hottie!
Olivia trying her first corn on the cob, she loved it!
Blowing out 29 candles! That's alot of candles!
Annie and Ryan enjoying the warm sun on the swings!
The girls playing at the spray park
I was bathing Macey and looked around the corner to see Annie putting on Olivia's diaper and jammies after her bath.... one of the sweetest things I have ever seen.
The perfect way to end a long day. Snuggling on the couch with a tired sweet baby. My favorite :)

Rodeo Fun

We went on a family outing to the rodeo here in town a couple of weeks ago and we had so much fun! The girls loved it. This town has tons of fun things to do all the time so we take advantage of the family ones and GO! Ye haw!
The girls watching the bull riders
Rex and Olivia being so darn cute! She loves her daddy!
I know, my girls all look awesome.... but I thought it was cute/funny! I fixed it up on a fun website and made it look a bit tattered. FUN!!

Fourth of July fun!

We had a blast the week of the 4th of July! We had a good friend of the family come up and stay with us for a week and it was a real treat! So we made the most of our time and did lots of really fun stuff! The girls LOVED Scott and looked forward to having him read them stories before bedtime on his ipad. He is way cooler than us :) Here is our fun in pictures!
This was the routine every night. Make a big bed in the play room and then wait for Mr. Mitchell to come in and read a story before going to sleep.  They loved it!
We made 4th of July bracelets and painted patriotic nails
Olivia's first snow cone at the Creswell parade
The girls at the parade waiting to be showered in candy. The parade was great!
Macey doing a sparkler
Annie and her sparkler
Rex made a dog with his sparkler.... he is so talented!
We finished the night off with red, white, and blue poke cake! I make it every year!
I am so grateful that I live in this beautiful free country.
