Lions, tigers and bears!

Rex had a whole 5 days off in between school getting out and starting of the Oregon Department of Forestry so we crammed in as much as we could :) We surprised the girls and took them to the zoo. We had so much fun! We spent the WHOLE day there. We saw everything. It was so much fun. I love days like that. Everyone was happy, the weather was perfect and we had a great family day.

Summer is about to start!

Not too much has been happening around here. We are anxiously waiting for school to be out (on Friday!) so summer can start! Yeah! Rex will start at the Oregon Department of Forestry in a couple of weeks for the summer. We are so grateful because there is a station here in Cottage Grove so he will be close to home. The girls and I are looking forward to swimming at the lake with friends, playing at the park and having nice long summer days.

I have been trying fun hairstyles on Annie lately. This is the "snail" braid. She is very good about sitting and letting me experiment.
