26.2

My mom is awesome! She ran her first marathon today and did great!! Not many nanny's of 4 grandchildren can say that! She ran it in Newport and came in at 4 hours and 12 minutes. She has trained long and hard and is such an inspiration to me. I am so proud of you mom and I know your example has not only made an effect on me but many others as well!! I love you and way to go!!

Macey Moo

Our little baby is 8 months old!! Ahh, I can't believe it. She is so sweet, very content, and all around a really good girl. We love her so much and we are so grateful that she is part of our family. She also makes us laugh...... look at these!

You can carry groceries and cute babies in cloth bags....

Sitting up in the tub, she likes to chew on the bath toys.

Our little single lady, she like to rock out with Annie when I get ready.....

Memorial Weekend

We had a long and fun weekend. We were able to spend time with all of our family which is always nice! Saturday we spent the day in Sweet Home with Rex's parents, his brother and his family. We always enjoy ourselves at their house. The kids always get lots of exercise and fresh air! Then Sunday we again enjoyed the weather and had a little picnic after church with friends at a beautiful rose garden park in town. Monday we barbecued at my parents and of course had smores'. It was nice to be able to celebrate those who give their lives so we might be free. Rex and I both have grandparents who did so and for them we are grateful. :)

Macey going for a wagon ride..... cute!

Annie loves to swing, I think she spent a good 45 minutes being pushed

The guys playing horseshoes, they are really good brothers

Rex and his girls relaxing on a blanket in the yard

A few family pictures....

We are so blessed, I love my sweet family.

Ducks, Smores' and more!

This past weekend we had so much fun for my mom's birthday! My sister and her family came down and surprised my mom and we always have a good time when she comes over. We fed the crazy geese at Alton Baker Park, had a bbq and roasted marshmallows, and had a family birthday dinner on Sunday. We spent time in my parents lovely newly landscaped backyard and enjoyed the warm weather!!

Feeding the ducks..... the girls were very generous and were giving the ducks whole slices!

Me and Annie. Some of those geese were bigger than Annie so she wanted to be held! I don't blame her, they are very aggressive!

Trying to take a group photo, it kinda worked :)

Papa and Macey just relaxing after church on the lawn.

The babes... Ezra likes touching Maceys face:)

What a lovely day, it was perfect and all the kids loved the fresh air.

Everyone roasting marshmallows and making smores, yum!
The girls were keeping a close eye on all the goodies, as you can see they had their share of sugar for the evening!
All the mamas!
Me and my honey...he's such a hottie!

Best part of the day....

I just have to tell you one of the best parts of my day. Besides working out, being productive (well as much as I can) spending time with my girls and Rex, one of my favorite parts of my day is right before I go to sleep.
After my girls are both asleep I love to peek into their room and watch them sleep. Then I walk into my room and I just have to smile. The two night stand lights are on and there is a warm glow to our room. The bed is covered in books, toys, binkies, stuffed animals, baby socks and sippys. The covers are pulled back from me and Annie snuggling in them and reading a mountain of books before bed.
As I clean up all the remains of kids playing in our bed, I smile and thank my
Heavenly Father for my wonderful life and for my sweet kids that bring so much love and happiness into my life. Sweet dreams.....

One Spoiled Mama

Happy Mother's Day!
Yes, I was quite happy today. It was absolutely perfect. Rex is such a sweet hubby, he spoiled me rotten today. He made my breakfast this morning. A delicious coffee cake, with fruit and hot chocolate. Then we were spiritually fed at church:) Next he got me some really great presents including new green stoneware baking dishes and he made me a bench!! Yeah, a whole piece of furniture. There is nothing this man can't do! I love it!! Next, he made me a yummy dinner, dessert and watched a chic flick with me. I love him to death! He has been getting hugs and kisses all day! I love being a mother and wife. If I could choose any job, this would be it. My girls are such a blessing and motherhood is so rewarding. It challenges you and blesses you all at the same time. My life is so great and I love my girls and my sweet husband!
Pretty great huh? He is so talented. He said I get to do whatever I want with it! So, I am going to paint it and sand the edges this week to finish it up ! I will show you the finished product!

A REX-ellent Party

This weekend was soooo fun!! Rex had his b-day on Saturday and I planned a day full of fun for him! First we made him breakfast in bed, apple filled crepes by request :)
Next I arranged for a bunch of his friends to surprised him by taking him to the new Wolverine movie after lunch. Then after a yummy homemade dinner, we went over to my parents house where we had a dessert buffet b-day party!
We had a great time and Rex was smiling ear to ear. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and family. I am so grateful that Rex is part of my life and that everyday I get to spend it with him. He is my best friend and I know that because of him I am a better person, wife and mother! He has made me happier than I could ever imagine!
I LOVE YOU REX! Happy Birthday!

Annie eyeballing the cake. It was so cute. She walked up to it as I was taking pictures and looked at me and said, " I love this mom, I want to touch it!" It made me laugh. Later that night she did stick her finger in it.

The birthday boy! This is one of the three dessert stations. This is the cake table.....

This is the ice cream sunday table! Yum! He is making his way around....

This is the smores' station. It was so much fun! Thanks to my parents who let us use their lovely back yard. What a great day!

Owl Jammies!

I finished my sewing project and made the girls matching pj pants.Yeah! They are soooo cute (my girls....ok the pants too!) Annie loves the owls on them and they look so cute on theboth!
I love jammies, (just ask Rex, I ask for them every Christmas :) and I love when the girls match, so this was my fix!
It really doesn't take that long to make them it is just finding the time to get all the sewing stuff out and trying to keep the pins, scissors, and seam rippers away from the kids.
Anyway, I was so excited to see them
both bouncing around this morning in them!!
Annie loves to sit with my and help sew. She is actually really careful. I love when she wants to be right next to me....she is so sweet!

Almost done!
My little girls!! Yes, Macey has a seahorse on her onesie, but the
orange matched perfectly I just had to get it!

Annie laughs so hard when Macey tips over on the couch. Thank goodness Macey thinks it is funny too! They looked so cozy, I just love to squeeze them!

Nice weather=Bubbles!

Annie loves to blow bubbles. Even though she is still figuring out not to actually touch her lips to the wand and then lick her lips and eat the soap, she loves it!
So yesterday we spent a good amount of time outside chasing bubbles!
She really likes it when I blow big bubbles that she can pop!
Macey was such a good girl and sat on her dish towel and watched
Annie run wild. We love nice weather!

Bubbles are the best! She is very independent, loves to do it herself!

Look at those baby blues! She really liked all the leaves that were on the ground, but then again, who wouldn't?
