Baby Macey!

Well, she finally made it! We are so excited and happy to have her with us after such a long wait!! She is such an angel, I love her sooo much already! I went to the doctor yesterday at 10:00 am, by 12:00pm Rex was home from work and we were on our way to the hospital. At 4:25 pm, 4 short hours later Macey was born!! Labor went sooo great and smooth and Rex was a great coach. I am so grateful that we were able to share this experience together. Macey weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. and is 20 inches long. Annie came to visit yesterday and did great! She was very excited to see her sister and was very gentle. We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for sending us 2 beautiful girls and blessing us with wonderful families! Welcome Macey!

Last few days of summer

A couple of days ago Rex and Annie went swimming in the pool at our apartments, trying to squeeze a few more days of summer into this month. Since I don't look that attractive in a swimsuit right now I took a few pictures of them playing in the pool!! Annie loves to swim, jump, and run into the pool. She is a little dare devil just like her dad!!
Jumping right into dad's arms (like his firefighting tan :)

Annie loves to be an airplane

DUE DATE

Well, my due date has come and now gone and we still have no Macey. Rex and I were for sure that she would be here by now, but apparently we were way off. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning so hopefully we will hear of some improvement and maybe some options as far as what to do now! But we are all doing great. I have resorted to wearing Rex's shirts in the evening around the house because all my maternity clothes are on the verge of just looking silly now. We are just really excited and very curious to when she will be here!!

Rex's handy work

So I know that I just posted about Annie and Macey's (we finally picked a name but not sure which way we want to spell it) room but there was a bit of a situation with the toddler bed. When we got it from a friend it was hot pink, so we painted it white. Well, not even a couple days after having it in her room, Annie figured out how to peel the paint off. It looked really ghetto so I mentioned the idea to Rex that maybe he could build Annie a new wooden bed to match the room. He is so awesome because on that following Monday (his day off) he went to my parents and spent all day in the shop building this cute bed!! I was so excited and very impressed!! He did such a great job. What a great dad and hubby!
I just had to show it off!!

Too cute

I know that I put a ton of pictures of Annie on here, but she is so funny and really cute. She recently has got her self into posing for pictures! Here are just a few of her posing at a bbq that we went to at a friends house. I am not sure why, but this is her new smile. We can't get her to smile with her teeth :)

37&1/2 weeks

Finally I had Rex take a picture of my growing belly!! I can't believe that only a couple weeks left. Wow, it has gone by so fast. I really love being pregnant and I think in some ways I will miss it. I am thrilled to have my baby here, but I love to feel her move and squirm. My pregnancies have gone so well with no morning sickness and I really enjoy having a belly and watching my body change. But yeah for babies, I can't wait to see her!

This is a picture of my hottie of a husband holding Annie in the baby sling that I made today!! I am so excited to have one for this new baby. I think that it will come in handy around the house or at the store. And I am very appreciative of Rex for modeling it for me!

Baby update!

Well, yesterday I had a great baby appointment! After being weighed and having my blood pressure check we listened to her heart beat. This baby is very active and is constantly kicking the doppler so it makes my doctor laugh, but a good strong heartbeat. By the way I LOVE my doctor, she is amazing and very thorough. She always wants everything to be perfect so it makes me feel important as her patient and well looked after! Next she felt the baby and said that she is turned in the right direction and is ready to meet us! She also checked and I am about 3 cementers dilated, yeah!! I am really getting excited and very anxious now. It was just a fun appointment. Rex and I are going to check out the new hospital tomorrow so we are ready to go! Check for updates!
